Scotia will host the third World Acadian Congress July 31 to
August 15, 2004. Acadians from around the world will come to this
area where l'Acadie was born almost 400 years ago. South Western Nova Scotia
will host thousands attending National Acadian Day extravaganza.
Family reunions, dynamic conferences, traditional dance and amateur theatre
festivals, arts and crafts exhibits, and genealogical exhibits are all
part of the fun.

Acadie 2003-2005 is building communication and marketing alliances among organizations in preparation for 2003-2005 events commemorating the arrival of the French in Acadie.
We want to share the story of Acadie's history with the world, by celebrating our colourful communities and cultural traditions. Festivals and events from Pubnico to Clare and from Port Royal to LaHave will display the best of Acadie to our visitors
My name is Jeffrey deViller and last summer during the Congres Mondial 2004 I filmed a 90 minute documentary on the Acadians. It contains over 70 interviews on topics such as the Acadian Culture, Traditions, Food, Music, Religion, and More.
