Indigestion or dyspepsia is a term covering many symptoms commonly experienced after eating, such as discomfort caused by a feeling of fullness, heartburn, nausea and bloating. Almost everyone experiences occasional indigestion. Factors such as poor food choices, lack of dietary fiber, high stress levels, alcohol, cigarettes, and environmental irritants are causes of digestive illness.  In some cases indigestion may be a sign of more serious medical conditions.
